This web page is our means of keeping friends and family up to date on our travels. Although our home is in the Hill Country of Texas, we lived and worked in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, from 1992 through 1995 and then in Den Haag, Nederland, until late October 1998, at which time we retired after more than 36 years with Shell Oil Company. Living abroad has provided the opportunity to visit many new places which we like to share you through our photography.

In the interest of faster initial load, we have not included picture thumbnails in the window on the left. To get to the picture links for particular topic, click on the name of the topic and you will be taken to a list of pictures for that topic. Click on the picture name to download the picture. Each picture is stored in JPEG format to speed downloading and is 50 kb or less.

Aircraft photos were taken either with a Canon EOS D30 digital SLR, most of them using a 100 to 300mm zoom telephoto lens, or with a Sony Mavica FD91. The other photos were taken with a Canon EOS A2e 35mm, a Sony Mavica FD91 digital, and more recently with a Canon EOS 20D digital.

I replaced my Canon EOS 20D and 30D with a Canon EOS 60D purchased in mid 2011, and hope to update the site with new pictures taken with it.
